This paper presents the results of a study on representatives of the Ranunculaceae Juss. family in the flora of Fergana city. Based
on field observations and analysis of literature and online databases (PoWo, Plantarium), nine species belonging to four genera -
Clematis L., Delphinium Tourn. ex L., Ranunculus L., and Thalictrum Tourn. ex L. - were identified. The flora of the city is
dominated by herbaceous plants, including five annual, three perennial, and one shrub species (Clematis orientalis). The most
common ecological groups are mesophytes and xerophytes, reflecting the continental climate and the urbanized environment of
Fergana. The study shows that Ranunculaceae species exhibit high ecological plasticity and adaptability to diverse habitats,
including anthropogenically influenced areas. The results expand the current understanding of the flora of Fergana and may serve
as a basis for biodiversity monitoring and assessment of the ecological condition of urban ecosystems in the region.
