This article examines the influence of risk propensity, driver awareness, attentiveness, and self-regulation on drivers' behavior. Particular attention is paid to the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of road safety. This article presents an analysis of the study based on data from 502 respondent-drivers. The findings confirm the importance of self-regulation, awareness, and risk-taking behavior control as factors in safe driving. The practical significance of these findings lies in the potential use in developing programs aimed at improving road safety and providing high-quality training for future drivers.
