The Samarkand region, located in the middle basin of the Zarafshan River, possesses a complex network of natural and artificial
water systems and is distinguished by the remarkable diversity of its hydrophilic flora. Currently, studying hydrophilic plants
found in reservoirs and fish ponds is one of the crucial tasks. In addition to analyzing the species composition of hydrophilic
plants in fish ponds, researchers also examine the distribution of species in water bodies according to their coverage status based
on the Drude scale and their life forms.
