USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN PRIMARY EDUCATION: THROUGH THE PRISM OF OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES
The key advantages of digital technologies have been identified, including: increased student interest and motivation, improved
quality of instruction, a variety of methods for presenting educational content, the integration of diverse teaching styles to facilitate
an individualized approach in primary education, and the capacity to support inclusivity. At the same time, the following potential
drawbacks of the active use of technology in primary schools were noted: the risk of information overload for children, reduced
attention span and focus, potential negative health impacts, the development of excessive technological dependence, and a decline
in social interaction among students.
