This article examines the complex relationships between genetic markers and evolutionary manifestations of the concept of "nafs," which
is often translated as "I" or "soul" in different philosophical and religious contexts, and the complex relationships between genetic
markers and evolutionary manifestations of the concept of "nafs," which is often translated as "I" or "soul" in different philosophical and
religious contexts. The paper aims to bridge the gap between biological evolution and spiritual development by exploring how human
inclinations influence individual behavior, personality traits, and moral decision-making. The historical and philosophical foundations of
the nafs, their interpretations in different cultures and periods, are described. Later, he studied the biological foundations of human
behavior, based on genetic studies that emphasize the role of heredity in shaping personality and moral foundations. Combining the
concepts of genetics, psychology, and philosophy, this work aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the concept of ego
manifests itself both in individual behavior and in human collective evolution.
