The article examines the features of conveying allomorphic and isomorphic elements in the Russian translation of Said Ahmad's
novel Ufq. The analysis is carried out taking into account the typological differences between Uzbek and Russian languages, as
well as the national and cultural specifics of the literary text. Special attention is given to cases of preservation and
transformation of the logical-semantic and emotionally expressive components of the original in translation. On the basis of a
comparative analysis of the original Uzbek text and its Russian translation, objective difficulties of literary translation are
identified, caused by differences in linguistic structure and worldview.
