Pyezoelektrik effektning vismut silikat kristallarining elastik va fotoelastik xossalarining anizotropiyasiga ta’siri Bregg yorug‘lik
difraksiyasi usulida o‘rganildi. Akustik to‘lqin vektorining yo‘nalishini o‘zgartirish orqali bunday difraksiyaning
samaradorligini boshqarish imkoniyati ma’lum bir simmetriya tekisligi ko‘rsatildi. Akustooptik sifat ko‘rsatkichining
maksimal qiymatlari kuzatiladigan akustik to‘lqinlarning tarqalish yo‘nalishi aniqlandi.
