Ushbu maqolada oliy ta’lim muassasalarida ilmiy-izlanish faoliyatining ahamiyati, shakl va usullari tahlil qilinadi. Empirik, nazariy hamda aralash (mixed) metodlardan foydalanishning roli, ularning talabalarda mustaqil fikrlash va tadqiqotchilik ko‘nikmalarini rivojlantirishdagi o‘rni yoritiladi. Shuningdek, zamonaviy texnologiyalardan foydalanish, xalqaro hamkorlikni kengaytirish va rag‘batlantiruvchi muhit yaratish orqali tadqiqot sifatini oshirish bo‘yicha tavsiyalar beriladi.
