DEVELOPING CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS IN ESL STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY LEVEL

This article delves into the development of critical thinking skills among ESL (English as a Second Language) students at the university level. The study draws from existing research highlighting the role of language proficiency, cognitive processes, instructional methods like problem-based learning, cultural dimensions, and technology integration in shaping critical thinking abilities in ESL
contexts. The aim is to enhance pedagogical practices and foster meaningful learning experiences for ESL learners, offering insights for educators and policymakers.
