Mazkur maqolada travmatik stress sharoitida farzand asrab oluvchi oilalar duch keladigan xususiyatlar va qiyinchiliklarni o‘rganiladi. Muallif farzand asrab oluvchi ota-onalarning xalqaro tajribalarini tahlil qilib, farzand asrab olishdan oldin travmatik tajribalarni boshdan kechirgan bolalarni engish strategiyalari va qo‘llab-quvvatlashga e’tibor qaratadi. Maqolada travmaning bolaning xulq-atvori va hissiy holatiga ta’siri, yangi oilaga moslashish va integratsiya usullari, shuningdek, farzand asrab oluvchilarga psixologik yordam ko‘rsatish kabi asosiy jihatlar ko‘rib chiqiladi. Tadqiqot joriy adabiyotlarni ko‘rib chiqishni o‘z ichiga oladi va o‘gay oilalarda travmatik stressni hal qilish uchun kompleks yondashuvning muhimligini ta’kidlaydi va ushbu sohadagi kelajakdagi tadqiqotlar uchun istiqbollarni taklif qiladi
