Abstract

The study examines the impact of maternal physical activity during pregnancy on the postnatal development of the offspring, in particular on the functioning of the hypothalamicpituitary-corticoid and hypothalamic-pituitarythyroid systems. The study confrms that regular exercise during pregnancy can have a positive effect on the rate of physiological development of children, especially in the context of modern sports activities.
