This study investigated the diversity, distribution, and host plant interactions of powdery mildew fungi (Erysiphaceae) on vascular
plants in the Surkhan State Nature Reserve. A total of 23 species (including 18 forms and 2 variations) were identified, parasitizing
49 species of higher plants from 20 families and 40 genera. Phyllactinia picridis on Inula grandis and Podosphaera fugax on
Geranium linearilobum were recorded for the first time. These findings highlight the high taxonomic diversity of powdery mildew
fungi in the reserve and underscore their phytosanitary importance.
