This article analyzes the impact of intercultural lexical differences on the process of oral interpreting. Lexical units specific to the
linguistic systems of different cultures and the concepts they express often lack direct equivalents, which requires interpreters to
possess deep cultural knowledge and skills of contextual adaptation. The article examines the difficulties encountered in the oral
interpretation of culturally marked words and expressions, effective approaches to addressing these challenges, and the role of the
interpreter in intercultural communication. In addition, traditional and modern interpreting strategies are analyzed based on real
examples, and recommendations for ensuring effective oral interpreting are provided.
