This article examines the interactive role of interrogative sentences in English dialogic speech from pragmatic and communicative perspectives. The study demonstrates that interrogative constructions function not only as means of obtaining information but also as important tools for initiating and maintaining dialogue, managing turn-taking, expressing attitudes, and conveying emotional meanings. Based on the analysis of authentic dialogic examples, the research reveals the multifunctional and context-dependent nature of interrogative sentences in real communication. The findings contribute to discourse analysis, foreign language teaching, and the development of communicative competence.
