This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations for studying the impact of artificial intelligence tools on the psychological stability of young people; it examines the essence and structural components of psychological stability, the interaction between the individual, activity, and the social environment, the psychological characteristics of the digital environment, and the socio-psychological mechanisms of human-AI interaction. By substantiating the methodological potential of culturalhistorical, activity-based, subject-activity, stress and coping, resilience, and resource-based approaches, the article demonstrates the necessity of a comprehensive study regarding the potential positive and negative effects of using artificial intelligence tools on the cognitive, emotional, motivational, and socio-psychological states of youth.
