This article explores the representation of ecological and social crises in fiction through the perspective of human–nature
relationships. It examines how environmental degradation caused by human activity, along with the disruption of social and moral
balance, is conveyed through literary images, symbolic elements, and narrative structures. Particular attention is paid to the close
connection between ecological and social crises, where the destruction of the natural world reflects the spiritual and ethical decline
of society. Using examples from both world and Uzbek literature, the study analyzes various artistic models of interaction between
humans and the natural environment, including domination, harmony, alienation, and responsibility.
