IMPROVING ENGLISH TEACHING METHODOLOGY IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES - AS A PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM
This article analyzes the improvement of English language teaching methods in higher education institutions using digital
technologies as a pedagogical problem. The main problem of the research is the inadequacy of traditional teaching methods and
the need to form 21st century competencies in students along with language skills. The article highlights the role of Artificial
Intelligence (AI)-based tools, learning platforms, and multimedia resources in ensuring interactive learning. Moreover, it focuses
on the new role of teachers and the issue of improving their digital competencies. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the integration
of digital technologies is an important strategic direction for improving the quality of higher education and preparing future
generations to be competitive in the global world
