This article provides a scientific analysis of the linguistic, methodological, and psychological problems that arise in the process of
teaching students aviation-related texts in English. Aviation English is characterized as a professional type of discourse
distinguished by a high degree of terminological density, strict contextual dependence, and the requirement for communicative
precision. In the process of text comprehension, terminological saturation, the abundance of abbreviations, complex syntactic
constructions, the lack of authentic materials, and differences in students’ language competence are identified as the main obstacles.
In addition, linguodidactic recommendations for overcoming these problems are developed.
