THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MESENCHYMAL STEM CELL-DERIVED EXOSOMES IN BIOTECHNOLOGY
The study examines a comprehensive biotechnological approach to processing pomegranate peel extract, which contains high–
molecular–weight polyphenolic compounds, including tannins. The potential of Pleurotus ostreatus, Aspergillus oryzae,
Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus terreus, and the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae to produce a tannase–containing enzyme preparation
was investigated. The dynamics of enzyme synthesis were studied during the stepwise modification of the nutrient composition
based on the standard Czapek medium. A comparative table of the specific activity of the tannase–containing enzyme preparation
produced by different microorganisms was obtained. According to the results of microbial screening, Aspergillus niger and
Aspergillus oryzae were identified as the most effective producers, demonstrating the highest activity of tannin–degrading enzymes.
The final outcome of the research was the development of adapted producer strains (Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus oryzae) with
high tannin–degrading capability, enabling their efficient use in the bioconversion of tannins from pomegranate peel extract.
