The article describes the synthesis of 2-naphthylchloroacetate and its nucleophilic substitution reactions with sodium
diethyldithiocarbamate. Triethylbenzylammonium chloride was used as a catalyst in the reaction. The biological activity of the
starting material and reaction products was studied virtually and experimentally. The composition and structure of the synthesized
substances were studied by chromatographic and spectroscopic methods.
