The article presents for the first time the nucleophilic substitution reactions of phenyl-2-chloropropionte chloride with 4-methoxyphenol under various conditions and the method for the synthesis of phenyl-4-methoxyphenoxypropionate. The nucleophilic substitution reactions were carried out in the presence of benzene, dioxane, DMF, and DMSO solvents, and phenyl-4-methoxyphenoxypropionate was synthesized in DMSO solution with a yield of 90%. The structure of the synthesized new organic substance, phenyl-4-methoxyphenoxypropionate, was confirmed using modern IR, ¹H NMR, and 13C NMR spectra
