This article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations for developing students’ creative abilities in primary education based
on the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). The content of STEAM education, its integration
into the educational process, and its pedagogical potential in enhancing students’ creative thinking are discussed. Particular
attention is given to interdisciplinary integration, project-based learning, problem-based instruction, and innovative teaching
methods aimed at developing the creative potential of primary school students. The findings indicate that the STEAM approach
plays an important role in developing independent thinking, problem-solving skills, and creative activity among primary school
learners.
