This article comprehensively analyzes the linguopragmatic interpretation of diplomatic discourse on the basis of theoretical
concepts and scholarly approaches in modern linguistics. The main aim of the research is to study diplomatic discourse as an
institutional form of language and speech, to identify the interrelation between its linguistic and extralinguistic components, and to
develop a theoretical generalization based on the views of different academic schools. The article elucidates the stages in the
formation of the concept of discourse, its relationship with text, speech, and communicative situation, as well as its evolution in
linguistic thought. In the course of the study, the methods of discourse analysis, comparative-descriptive method, contextual
analysis, linguopragmatic approach, and theoretical generalization were employed.
