This article examines the relationship between university students’ adaptation and anxiety levels from a socio-psychological perspective. The study involved 515 students whose academic, social, and emotional adaptation as well as learning motivation were assessed. The research employed the Rogers–Diamond Social-Psychological Adaptation Questionnaire (Snegirova’s modification), the Spielberger–Khanin Anxiety Scale, Taylor’s Anxiety Scale (T.A. Nemchinov’s modification), and the student adaptation methodology developed by T.D. Dubovitskaya and A.V. Krylov. The findings revealed high levels of academic and social adaptation among students, while emotional adaptation was found to be relatively lower. Furthermore, statistically significant relationships were identified between anxiety levels and adaptation indicators. The results provide an important scientific basis for developing psychological support programs and improving adaptation processes within higher education institutions.
