Sericin protein was obtained from silk by water extraction. The effect of sericin on the aquatic environment and temperature has
been studied. Lowry's method was used to determine the total protein content of solutions obtained from silk at four different
temperatures. Sericin protein was isolated in pure form. IR-spectrometric and UV-spectrometric analysis of sericin was carried
out. The study of the amount of amino acids in the sericin protein was carried out using high performance liquid chromatography.
