METHODOLOGICAL AND COGNITIVE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CONCEPT OF "ANALYSIS" IN THE TRADITION OF ANALYTIC PHILOSOPHY

This article investigates the methodological and cognitive essence of the concept of "analysis" within the tradition of 20th-century analytic philosophy. By comparatively studying the views of thinkers such as G.E. Moore, G. Frege, R. Carnap, and B. Russell, the study highlights the "paradox of analysis", the relationship between denotation and meaning, and the problem of explication in the cognitive process. As a result of the research, it is substantiated that analysis is not merely the division of concepts into parts, but a crucial philosophical and methodological activity that re-evaluates dogmatic views, ensures the connection between language and logic, and creates the necessary cognitive conditions for critical thinking.
