This article analyzes the methodological foundations for forming the moral character of leaders of general education institutions. Based on scientific literature, it examines the role of humanistic, competency-based, values-based, and reflective approaches in fostering the moral maturity of educational leaders. Furthermore, the study substantiates the importance of developing such moral qualities as honesty, justice, responsibility, and patriotism in improving the effectiveness of educational institution management and creating a healthy moral environment. The findings contribute to the improvement of methodological approaches aimed at strengthening moral leadership in the training and professional development of leaders of general education institutions.
