POLYSACCHARIDES OF THE AERIAL PART OF PISUM SATIVUM
Methods have been developed for the isolation and purification of polysaccharides of the aerial parts from plant materials Pisum
sativum fam. (Fabaceae) and studied the qualitative and quantitative content of polysaccharides in the grass as biologically active
components that determine its anti-inflammatory and absorbent activity in the normalization of gastrointestinal disorders. The
qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the content of the polysaccharide complex were determined, including water-
soluble polysaccharides were extracted with cold (WSPS-1) and hot water (WSPS-2) with a yield of 3.4% and 1.5%, pectin
substances (PS) with a yield of 4.65% and hemicellulose (HMC) with with a yield of 3.15% in terms of the degree of
esterification, they turned out to be highly esterified.
