This study investigated the prevalence characteristics of Type 1 diabetes mellitus in Almalyk city, one of the environmentally
unfavorable and industrially developed regions of the Tashkent Province. Official medical and statistical data for the years 2024–
2025 were analyzed. A comparative assessment of diabetes prevalence rates across different cities and districts of the Tashkent
Province was conducted, and the age-related dynamics of the disease among the population of Almalyk city were determined. The
results showed that by the end of 2025, the number of patients diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes mellitus in Almalyk had increased
by 12.3%. The highest prevalence of the disease was observed in the 50–69-year age group. The findings suggest that environmental
factors, urbanization, and lifestyle characteristics in industrialized areas may contribute to the spread of metabolic diseases among
the population.
