METHODOLOGY FOR PREPARING PHYSICS TEACHERS FOR DIGITAL EDUCATION
The article examines the preparation of physics teachers for the effective use of digital educational technologies. The role of digital
education in modern physics teaching, the structure of digital competence, and the possibilities of using digital tools in teachers’
professional activities are analyzed. The study employs the methods of scientific and pedagogical literature analysis, comparison,
generalization, modelling, and pedagogical observation. A model for developing the digital competence of physics teachers is proposed,
consisting of technological, methodological, and practical components. The study substantiates the importance of purposeful use of virtual
laboratories, computer simulations, digital assessment tools, and distance learning platforms in physics education.
