Adolescents’ career self-determination is a multifactorial process involving motivational, self-regulatory, and socio-psychological components. The study aimed to identify the psychological factors associated with career choice among students in Grades 9–11. The sample included 237 adolescents aged 14–17. Learning motivation, self-organization, vocational interests based on the RIASEC model, and external influences on career choice were assessed. Older students demonstrated higher professional and learning-related motivation, goal setting, planning, and volitional stability. Social motivation was associated with the Social RIASEC type, creative motivation with the Artistic type, and learning-cognitive motivation with the Investigative type. The findings support an integrated career guidance approach combining interest assessment with the development of motivation and self-organization.
