This article examines the periodic changes and influencing factors in the demographic processes of the rural population of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The role of fertility in the growth of the countryʼs rural population, its periodic and territorial characteristics are revealed. This describes how changes in the demographic behavior of the population, characteristic of rural areas, are reflected in demographic processes. Issues related to the demographic situation in rural areas and the stages of the demographic transition period will also be considered.
