DEN BRAUNNING “FARISHTALAR VA IBLISLAR” ASARIDA QOʻLLANILGAN “HELL” VA “DAMN” SOʻZLARINING SEMANTIK TAHLILI

This article is devoted to the semantic analysis of the words “hell” and “damn” found in “Angels and Demons” by Dan Brown. There are opinions and comments about the fact that semantics is one of the main branches of linguistics, which is clearly visible in the process of treanslating works of fiction. It analyzes some differences between the original denotative meanings and connotative meanings of these words. The fact that these two words, whose meanings are close to each other in terms of semantics, are used as synonyms in different places of the work is considered with the help of several examples. There are also examples of how the word “hell” appears in the phase and in some places it also expresses a positive meaning.
