The article analyzes the methodological foundations of the use of open educational platforms in the modern educational process. The possibilities of digital technologies and open educational environments in the process of teacher training are highlighted, in particular, the effective use of distance learning, online courses, virtual laboratories and interactive resources. The study analyzes the role of pedagogical technologies, information and communication tools in the educational process and their importance in developing the professional competence of teachers on a scientific basis. The methodology for using open educational platforms, mechanisms for their integration into the teaching process, and their role in supporting independent learning of students are also revealed
