This study explores how simulation-based teaching bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world architectural practice. We found that simulations are particularly effective in helping students develop the practical skills, critical thinking abilities, and communication competencies they'll need in their careers – especially when working in English-speaking professional environments. Our research looks at different types of simulations used in architecture programs, from project presentations and client meetings to team collaborations and virtual design workshops. By reviewing both international and local research, we show how simulation methods are transforming architectural education. The study concludes with practical suggestions for educators looking to integrate these approaches into their teaching.
