O‘ZBEK-INGLIZ BADIIY MATNLARI ASOSIDA MADANIYATGA XOS TARIXIY REALIYALARNI TARJIMA QILISHDAGI MUAMMOLAR

This article analyzes the issues of translating culturally specific historical realities using the example of Uzbek and English literary texts. As we know, realities are closely related to the lifestyle, customs, religious views and socio-political system of the people and may be alien to representatives of other cultures. Since it is not always possible to convey them by finding a direct equivalent in the translation process, various strategies are used, such as transliteration, explanatory translation, adaptation and search for equivalents.
