LINGUOCULTURAL FEATURES OF SPEECH ETIQUETTE IN THE FATHER’S DISCOURSE OF ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES (BASED ON “THE GODFATHER” AND “SHAYTANAT”)

This article analyzes the linguoculturological features of speech etiquette means used in the “father” discourse in English and Uzbek languages. Based on the research, the “father” images in Mario Puzo‘s “The Godfather” and Tahir Malik’s “Shaytanat” are comparatively analyzed in a linguistic and cultural context, highlighting the speech communication culture, social values reflected in language tools, and culture of both nations. Through such analyses, it is possible to identify the unique values of two national etiquettes, as well as the idiostyle of the writers.
