PSYCHOLINGUISTIC APPROACHES TO DEVELOPING STUDENTS' SPEECH
This article explores the significance of psycholinguistic approaches in developing school students' speech. It analyzes age psychology, speech disorders, and the interaction between language and thinking in English language classes. The study highlights methods of speech correction and the development of communicative skills through psycholinguistic strategies. The article analyzes the theoretical foundations and practical opportunities of the linguistically centralized approach in the process of developing students’ speech. The methods aimed at harmonizing language and speech activities, their application in the educational process, and their role in shaping students’ communicative competence are highlighted. In addition, the advantages of the improved methodology, its integration with the achievements of modern linguodidactics, as well as effective ways of developing students’ oral and written speech through interactive methods are discussed. The results of the study show that developing speech activity based on a centralized linguistic approach expands students’ creative thinking and forms conscious and purposeful skills in the use of linguistic means.
