This article analyzes the semantic and conceptual features of proverbs formed with somatic components in English and Uzbek languages. The study demonstrates, through examples of paremiological units created on the basis of body parts such as head, eyes, nose, and teeth, their semantic differences and cultural connotations. In Uzbek proverbs, somatic units are more often associated with family relations, social values, and leadership, whereas in English they are widely used to express personal experience, psychological states, and caution. The article also reveals the conceptual foundations of these somatic components.
