This article analyzes, from an ethnological perspective, the customs of the Uzbek people related to the preparation, serving, and consumption of food during holidays and various wedding ceremonies. The study highlights the symbolic and social significance of table culture in rituals such as Tirgon, Navruz, Mehrjon, the celebration of childbirth, circumcision (sunnat to‘y), and wedding ceremonies. Food is interpreted not only as a symbol of hospitality and respect but also as an expression of unity, prosperity, and traditional values within society. Furthermore, the article demonstrates how the festive dastarkhan reflects the national worldview, religious and moral beliefs, and the system of social relations
