THE CONTENT AND ESSENCE OF RESEARCH ACTIVITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION
This article analyzes the content and essence of research activity in higher education. Research activity is interpreted as a key factor
in developing students’ independent thinking, analytical approach, creativity, and professional competence. The methodological,
theoretical, and practical foundations of research work and its integration with modern digital transformation processes are
discussed. The paper substantiates the role of research activity in improving the quality of higher education, strengthening the
integration of science and production, and fostering innovative thinking.
