PEARL BUCK ASARLARINING ADABIYOTDA TUTGAN O’RNI
В статье рассматривается место творчества лауреата Нобелевской премии по литературе Перл С. Бак (1892–1973) в мировой литературе, в частности значение её художественного посредничества между культурами Востока и Запада. Анализируется художественная интерпретация китайского общества, женщины и семьи, материнства, патриархальных отношений, культурных противоречий и гуманизма в таких произведениях, как The Good Earth, East Wind: West Wind, The Mother, Pavilion of Women и Peony. Особое внимание уделяется транснациональному и транскультурному характеру творчества Перл Бак, а также обосновывается её место как «синкретического» писателя, связавшего американское и китайское литературно-культурные пространства.
