DEVELOPMENT OF MEDIA LITERACY SKILLS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AS A SOCIO-PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM
This article examines the development of media literacy skills among students in vocational education within the context of digital
transformation. The study highlights the importance of media literacy as a key component of professional and digital competencies
required for future specialists. The paper analyzes contemporary scientific research and international experience in the field of
media education and identifies the main socio-pedagogical factors influencing the formation of media literacy skills among
vocational education students. Particular attention is paid to the role of digital educational technologies, interactive teaching
methods, and critical analysis of media content in shaping students’ information culture.
