This research study investigates the research competence of future English language teachers, focusing on three key components:
research knowledge, research skills, and research attitude. The study assesses the levels of competence among student teachers by using
a mixed-methods approach and identifies areas for improvement. The findings highlight significant gaps in students' research skills with
positive correlations between research knowledge and attitudes.
