In the process of modernizing the contemporary education system, the effectiveness of managerial personnel’s professional activity
depends not only on their professional knowledge and skills, but also directly on the level of development of their soft competencies.
In scientific research, soft competencies are interpreted as an integrative system of personal qualities that reflect the ability to
communicate effectively, manage teams, solve problems, and make strategic decisions. The purpose of this study is to
systematically analyze the theoretical foundations of developing soft competencies of managerial personnel and to develop a
structural model that ensures their development. In the course of the research, a системic approach, competency-based approach,
structural-functional analysis, and modeling methods were employed.
