This article discusses current issues in linguodidactics related to teaching Russian as a foreign language. The author emphasizes the importance of defining teaching goals and objectives in consideration of linguo-cultural, communicative, and cultural aspects. Additionally, the article highlights the necessity of incorporating modern pedagogical technologies, methodological approaches, and assessment systems to improve the effectiveness of the learning process.
